As a Producer/Interviewer for the HistoryMakers,® for the past 10 years, she has conducted hundreds of oral histories of prominent U.S citizens.

The History Makers® archive was acquired by the Library of Congress in November 2014. The archive is now available at major university libraries such as Emory, Yale, Carnegie Mellon, Howard, Harvard, University of Chicago and Brandeis.

During her many interviews of famous and “unsung heroes,” she would get request for her to interview parents or grandparents so that they could capture more information about their family ancestry. “I created Lasting Legacies, LLC. as an outlet for anyone to document their family history Lasting Legacies LLC provides the preservation of family genealogies, stories and photos, so they may be passed on to future generations.

Denise produced her first program for Cable Atlanta some 35 years ago. She was the producer of award winning cable television program FemCarewhich was a “live” female healthcare talk show hosted by Dr. LaLura White, Sports Colloquy with host former NFL Defensive Back, Maurice Tyler and LaVeila Muse an entertainment show of local Atlanta talent, hosted by jazz vocalist, Pat Scott. A skilled interviewer, Denise has conducted hundreds of life story interviews. She has degrees in Business Administration and 20 years of family research and genealogy creation.
